Within the Butterfly Project Christmas Beauty Box, there were also a number of makeup products. The overall theme for all these cosmetics was pink, which is right up my alley. (｡✪‿✪｡)ﾉ


So today, I'll be showing you a simple pinkish makeup look using these products (and some of my own as well). Here's a quick look at what are the pinky makeup items I found in the Christmas beauty box.

Maybelline Color Show nail polish #010 Pink Voltage

I was pretty excited to see this cute little bottle of Maybelline Color Show #010 Pink Voltage nail polish in the box, but was slightly letdown when I applied it on my nails. It's a sheer, pearly pink shade that is definitely work-friendly, but you know me - I love my nails bright and opaque! (๑>◡<๑)

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop lip balm - Pink Shock (Watermelon flavour)

Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner - Deep Black  (the packaging is pink, so that counts! :P)

Collection Hotlights Lipgloss - Glimmer (shimmery pink-red)

The Dolly Wink eyeliner is seriously pigmented and easy to use, while the Electro Pop lip balm calls out to me because of the watermelon flavour, lol. I'm not partial to lip gloss, so I'll be honest and say I only used it once. (・_・;)
