Welcome to the 6th installment of my Peripera My Color Lips lipstick review! ( ˘ ³˘)♥


This lipstick was bought from a beauty expo last October; I remember snapping pics for a review shortly after that but somehow never managed to get the blog post done. The pictures have been sitting in my memory card for long enough, so I decided I'd better make good use of them. (⌒_⌒;)

Every time I see or hear the name Akara, my mind immediately links it to that NPC in Diablo II. But that's completely unrelated to today's post, which is about contact lenses. As you can probably already tell from the title, I'm reviewing a pair of Vassen Akara Brown contact lenses, kindly sent to me by Loveshoppingholics.

That degree of myopia is atrocious, I know.

They come in little sealed glass vials, securely wrapped in layers of bubble wrap. So far I've never had any problems with Loveshoppingholics' shipping nor packaging; everything arrives safely and beautifully packaged.

I will readily admit that I'm more of a cosmetics gal, so I don't really spend much time or money on skincare products. However, that doesn't mean I don't take care of my skin - I just use the basics like makeup remover (when needed), cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. I also hardly use sunscreen, because I prefer using moisturizers with SPF so that I can just apply it and go.

Within the Butterfly Project Christmas Beauty Box, there were also a number of makeup products. The overall theme for all these cosmetics was pink, which is right up my alley. (｡✪‿✪｡)ﾉ


So today, I'll be showing you a simple pinkish makeup look using these products (and some of my own as well). Here's a quick look at what are the pinky makeup items I found in the Christmas beauty box.

The last time I actually used any Garnier products was way back in  2011 when the Light BB Roll-On was launched, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover these in my Butterfly Project Christmas Beauty Box last December.

This time, it's a slightly darker, but no less dazzling, purple shade - 3CE Creamy Waterproof Eyeliner in #4 Chicago.

It was a sombre (and rainy) final weekend in March for Singapore, but it was a pretty good one for me, because an impromptu trip down South gave me the opportunity to pay my respects to my late uncle in Johor during 清明, meet up with several friends, enjoy some good food, and do a spot of shopping along Orchard Road.

As a frequent contact lens wearer, I have to take extra care of my contact lens, as they are mostly monthly or tri-monthly lenses. (I admit, I sometimes use them up to 6 months if I seldom wear them or they don't hurt my eyes even after the stipulated duration. ⌒_⌒;) Therefore, regularly cleaning them is a vital part of eye care.
