Yes! With this handy little eyeshadow palette, you literally have everything at your fingertips to create a simple yet beautiful eyemake. I was quite apprehensive at first when these cute little palettes landed on my review desk, but after trying them out, I'm pretty sure these are going to be my eyeshadow buddies for a long, long time.


CANMAKE Juicy Pure Eyes are eyeshadow trios that provide natural definition, featuring a 'Juicy Coat Soufflé' top coat to create captivatingly adorable eyes with a juicy shimmer. The eyeshadows are housed in a plastic casing with silver lace patterns on the lid, and there's a clear window for you to see the colours inside. The eyeshadow themselves are divided into 3 sections shaped like a curtain. Each palette includes a small sponge-tip applicator.

The eyeshadows are soft, buttery, and pigmented, with some slight fallout. Normally I don't use the sponge-tip applicators included in palettes, but in the case of these Juicy Pure Eyes trios, the applicator works perfectly to apply the eyeshadows on the lids according to the instructions on the back.

See? No blending required at all! Simply use one side of the applicator to apply the leftmost (main) shade all over your eyelid, then use your finger to pat the middle (juicy coat soufflé shimmer) shade all over, and finally use the tip of the applicator to apply the darkest shade near the upper lashline. You can leave it just like that, or add a more defined eyeline using a liquid, gel or pencil eyeliner.

Neutral eye makeup lovers will love these, as the colours are mainly brown with hints of pink, orange, gold or beige according to the different palettes.

To be honest, the four palettes look fairly similar at first glance. A closer look and some swatches later reveal the differences in the various shades. Personally, I prefer eyeshadows that aren't too nude and show more colour, so my favourite would be the cool-toned #03 Antique Gold, although #02 Happy Sunny Brown is a close second. Without a primer, these lasted me a good 8 hours with some fading at the end of the day. Prepping with an eyeshadow primer will not only enhance the eyeshadows but also make them last longer without much noticeable fading. :)

✓ Pros: Eyeshadows are buttery smooth and pigmented, good combination of neutral shades, easy application (suitable even for beginners), no blending or prior makeup experience required, small compact size, sponge-tip applicator included, pretty packaging.
✗ Cons: Slightly pricey, best not to drop the lightweight plastic palette. (⌒_⌒;)
