SexyLook Extra Brightening Duo Lifting Mask

If you've been to Watson's lately, you might have spotted these masks on the shelves. They currently have several types of these 3D masks available, to suit different skin types and needs. Here, I am reviewing the SexyLook Extra Brightening Duo Lifting Mask, which has a very unique 3D design to help you achieve that V-line face.


Besides the "lifting" effect which is found throughout the range, this mask has a brightening effect which helps brighten dull-looking skin, increase moisture level and improve skin elasticity.

There are instructions with diagrams on the side of the box (they come in a box of 5 pcs) showing how to use the mask. Read on to see how it's done. ;)

Similar to the previous Lovemore My Melody mask, this SexyLook mask comes with a generous amount of essence. Once opened up, you will find that it has extra hoops at the sides of the face for the ears, and also a (strange-looking) extra piece under the chin. No worries!

Once you have placed the mask onto your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin (just like any other mask), take the side piece on both sides and loop it behind your ear to secure it.

Tuck the hoops behind your ears

After that, do the same with the parts below the chin. Make sure that it is placed flat along your jawline so that it gives a 'lifting' effect to your chin when you loop it behind your ears. :)

Loop the bottom piece behind your ears too!

The mask should fit snugly all around your face. :)

I felt that the mask was slightly too small, but it was not a big problem, and when the mask was securely placed on my face and looped around the ears, I could definitely feel it give a 'lift' to my neck and chin area. :) Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then remove and massage in the remaining essence.

My thoughts...

At first, I was skeptical of the mask's design, but after trying it out, I find myself liking the concept of this "3D lifting mask" very much. It is able to cover from forehead to under the chin, so I feel that it does live up to its claims of a achieving a "V-line" face (although that will probably be after using many many pieces, haha) with its lifting function. I also like how secure it is after looping them behind the ears - I can walk around and do other things without worrying that it will fall off! The essence does not feel sticky and is easily absorbed into the skin after lightly massaging, while the scent is pleasant but nothing special.

✓ Pros: Good 'lifting' effect, 3D mask is secure and covers face and neck area very well, affordable price, large variety of choices, pleasant scent, essence is easily absorbed and not sticky.
✗ Cons: Mask is slightly small, material is thin and might tear/break easily.
