I have a confession to make.

I'm not really a face mask kinda girl. I mean, I do use masks occasionally, like once every 1-2 weeks, but it's not exactly part of my usual routine. I usually only do masks when I'm free, or when I feel that I need a moisture boost. （＞д＜）

However, with this super kawaii My Melody Oil Free Moisturizing 3D Fitting Mask from Lovemore, I'd be more than happy to use masks religiously every week! :D

The main attraction of this mask, besides its oil control and moisturizing properties, is definitely the cute My Melody outer packaging. On the back of the pack are directions of use and the ingredients list in Chinese, but no worries, they have a sticker with English translations. :)

Even the illustrated instructions are cute! :3

The mask is neatly folded into the packet, and is soaked in a generous amount of the essence. It looks small here, but when opened up, the mask is really quite big. It has a nice floral scent, which actually reminded me of Febreze! （*＾ワ＾*） I like the scent of Febreze, so I'm fine with it.


Let me show you the reason why they call it a "3D Fitting Mask". See the photos below? The mask not only covers the face (like usual masks), but also covers the nose and wraps around the chin and neck!

You're probably wondering what are the weird things under my eyes. It's actually a patch to cover the eyelids (because people usually snooze while doing masks?) but the eye holes and patch don't really fit. T_T I found a way to solve the problem in the end though. ;)

Just leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes (snooze, read a book, stalk people on Facebook), then remove the mask and massage the remaining essence into your face and neck area.

Overall, I find that this mask works well in boosting moisture, but does not really help in oil control. I do find the "3D" aspect really good, as it works very well in covering my face, nose and neck area. I love the scent of the essence; it has a nice floral smell that isn't too overwhelming. My only complaint is that the mask itself is slightly too big, and the material is quite thick compared to other brands (i.e. MBD).

✓ Pros: Cute packaging, 3D mask covers face and neck area very well, pleasant scent, affordable price, helps keep skin hydrated, comes in 2 varieties to suit different needs.
✗ Cons: Does not really help oil control (might be due to personal skin condition though), mask texture quite thick, size is big and might not fit properly.
